Hello Newgrounds family!

This past weekend has been absolutely crazy. If you haven't noticed by now, the Newgrounds Voice Acting Collaboration 2021, Part 1 is LIVE on this beautiful site! Check it out here, or click on the awesome banner that's showcased on the front page!

NGVAC '21, Part 1

Major props need to be given to @DoctorGrambo for creating this awesome banner being displayed on the front page. He took a simple concept and morphed it into something AWESOME! If you don't support him, there's something wrong with you XD Here's a link to the banner art he created for the collab!

NGVAC '21 Banner Art by DoctorGrambo

A huge thank you is in order for @TomFulp as well. It means so much that he's willing to show his support for this amazing community in this manner. The front page feature shows he cares about our careers and the hard work we put into this. Your support means everything Tom, and we love you for that!

I'm blown away by the success of the collab so far. We've already surpassed the amount of favorites, downloads, votes and overall score from the inaugural NGVAC and we're about to surpass it in total listens. It took six months for the original NGVAC to hit 13,000 listens. It's taken literal days for Part 1 to reach 12,000. I swear, this wonderful community has shown us so much love and support and the feedback has been heartwarming. There's been a lot of praise and strong words of encouragement and we love to see it! There's also so many people showing interest in wanting to be in Part 2!

We really hope you guys enjoy Part 1 of the '21 edition and you're now looking forward to Part 2! We have another 15 skits lined up and are ready to be produced! You can expect that to drop on the anniversary of the original collab, November 30th :D

This collab wouldn't have been released six months from the original release if it wasn't for my good buddies @NickSenny and @JoshDytonVO. I brought them on as managers for this year and they've been a tremendous help. Nick was basically the front runner, taking on a shit ton of responsibilities that I can't even name off because there was so many. We stayed on track and organized because of his awesome leadership. I'm very lucky to have him on board and as my friend :) Josh mainly ate crumpets and drank tea the entire time, but we love him for that XD Josh was actually a huge help on the production side this year and I'm glad he decided to take up the mantle for it. He produced and engineered a few skits and helped us organize things with the collab. I love these two lads a great deal and I'm happy to call them my friends :)

Please go check out the collab if you haven't yet! Thank you so much for showing the awesome voice acting community the love and support it deserves!!!

~

My final bit I wanted to talk about today is the latest milestone I've hit. I reached 800 fans on Newgrounds today and I'm flabbergasted by that. It's not because of the number either, but how quickly it happened. It's literally taken a week to hit 800 fans. A week ago from today, I made an announcement on Twitter saying thank you for helping me reach 700 fans. Now, I'm here saying thank you for helping me reach 800 fans.

To this day, I'm still shocked that so many people are interested in my voice acting career. I'm just a simple guy who does silly voices and all of you love that. It brings me so much joy and happiness and that keeps me going in my career. I love knowing that my career brings others joy too. I just hit 40k followers on TikTok the other day and I did a live stream with a fan of mine, and they went on to tell me I'm an idol of theirs and I bring them so much joy and happiness when they watch my live streams or videos. That made me so happy and emotional. Knowing I'm touching someone's life just through my voice acting is very special (Thank you Rando :D )

Newgrounds will always hold a special place in my heart. If you don't know this by now, you haven't heard me gush over this awesome site XD I wouldn't be where I am without Newgrounds and this amazing community. You guys are the fuel to my burning fire and you guys keep me going. Truly, from every inch of my heart, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT! This is the best community out there, and I'm very lucky to be a part of it. All of the events this past weekend were early birthday presents for me as well. Can't believe I'm turning 31, fuck me XD

I LOVE YOU NEWGROUNDS FAMILY!!!

Hello Newgrounds!

I hope your Pico Day celebrations were a blast this year and you kept it going all weekend long! I spent the evening hanging out with some NG homies and we played some games online as well! Throughout the day though, as I checked out all of the AWESOME submissions, I was polishing up my special tribute to Newgrounds.

I initially came up with this idea months ago: an audio project where I impersonate some of my favorite Newgrounds characters. However, I never followed through on creating it, mainly due to just being so damn busy. So it looked like it was just going to be an idea left on the shelf.

Thankfully, when Tom made his initial Pico Day post, it sparked my interest to create this project. I thought to myself, "Let's make this happen, but let's also have it be a submission that celebrates Newgrounds." So instead of this project being a simple VoicesByCorey impersonation video, I took the time to choose characters and scenes that resonated with me. Scenes that led to memorable moments in my life.

Blockhead initially brought me to Newgrounds, Tankman made sure it retained my interest on the site. Metal Gear Awesome provided hilarious content and sparked an interest to voice act. Leo and Satan continued to provide comedy, but it did so through some rough patches in my life. Every clip that's included in this project means a great deal to me. This was my way of saying thank you to Newgrounds, Tom and to all of you. I wouldn't be where I am today without this website. I hope you hear the dedication I put into it and it brings a smile to your face as it did with mine as I recorded it. :)

This was my very first project ever for Pico Day. I knew releasing it as a Pico Day submission would be more satisfactory, and meaningful, than releasing it on a random day. In my eyes, it was, because I woke up on May 2 to find that it was front paged. I was so happy because it truly showed that my project resonated with the Newgrounds crew just as much as it resonated with me.

Please take the time to listen to my homage to Newgrounds if you haven't yet. If you have, thank you so much for your support! The love you guys show for my voice acting career means so much to me, truly. Let me know which impression you liked the most! :D

I LOVE YOU ALL AND I LOVE NEWGROUNDS! EVERYTHING, BY EVERYONE, FOREVER!

Seriously Newgrounds?!

You guys, I'm literally feeling so many different emotions about this. Right here, this means so damn much to me. I could care less about how many fans I acquire via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or wherever. The fans that do matter are YOU! It's because of YOU that I even pursued my voice acting career. It was YOU who gave me the confidence to audition more. It was YOU who showed me support when I submitted audio bits, voiced in animations and games and joined an awesome podcast. YOU, the glue that holds this beautiful website together, are the fuel that burns the fire inside me. I would be nothing in my career without your generous love and support!

I'll be honest, when the numbers creeped closer to 500, I was watching liking a hawk, waiting for it to strike that elusive total. A wave of emotions hit me when I saw @Tiltro's name pop up in my notifications to mark the milestone. I was happy, excited, overjoyed, overwhelmed, proud, etc. So many emotions filled me to the point where tears nearly filled my eyes. I know it sounds stupid, but I honestly believed no one would even care about my voice acting career, let alone like my work. Friends usually told me, "Hey, you have a great voice and can do amazing impressions. You should try voice acting!" Well, when I actually pursued it, no one really gave a rats ass sadly. Nowadays, friends and family are supportive, minus a few, but those who were supportive right off the bat were my Newgrounds family. The first gig I ever auditioned for came from Newgrounds and I was cast in the project. That was mind blowing to me, and on top of that, my character was a lead in the project. Now, I'm landing more and more opportunities and I'm working with some AMAZING, TALENTED individuals who I'm proud to call my friends.

One of the best components of Newgrounds is the community aspect of the site. EVERYONE supports one another and I absolutely love that. Sure, some people will have their differences, but the majority of the community supports one another and encourages one another to grow and thrive. A perfect example is the Friday Night Funkin' crew. The love and support from the community allowed this awesome game to blossom into a fucking phenomenon that's loved world wide. Now more and more people are coming to Newgrounds daily and I love that. Major props to the team for living out their dreams, and major props to the community for helping me live out mine.

I stated that this milestone truly means a lot to me. I have lots of stuff going on in my personal life that are weighing thick on me right now. On top of handling my day job, finding time to work on all the projects I'm attached too has become stressful and tiresome at times. I keep grinding though because if I want to achieve my goals, I need to. Not just for myself, but for my family and for those who believe in me. As I stated in a recent episode of NGP, I always look to the optimistic side of things and look for the positives. Even though the negatives may outweigh the positives at times, the positives will ALWAYS feel better. This is one of the positive things I needed in my life right now. That joy I felt truly made me ecstatic, it's a small victory, sure, but the victory is powerful and meaningful to me.

Again you guys, THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT! You guys encourage me to be the best voice actor I can be and I hope you notice that every time you hear my voice in an animation, game, podcast or audio project. I truly love every single one of you. Thank you @TomFulp for creating this amazing website and giving creative individuals a place to grow and thrive. We wouldn't be where we are today without your creation. Major shout outs to my some of my main buddies @NickSenny, @JoshDytonVO, @Will, @PsychoGoldfish, @Xinxinix, @DannyGoodShirt, @Fro, @JohnnyGuy, @LuckoDaStars, @GrayAnimations, @HarpyCarp, @Bro-son33, @kutaykomiks, @BoyPorcelain, @Jacob, @Spadezer, @RealMrSnuggles, @GoodL and a bunch of others I'm probably forgetting.

A few more things before I wrap this post up. PLEASE go support Newgrounds if you're not a supporter yet dammit. The site deserves every penny and provides a place for creators to grow. I'll be submitting an audio piece for Pico Day so look out for that! I'm liking how it's coming together and I really hope you like my little tribute to Newgrounds :) Please listen in to @TheNewgroundsPodcast! We just hit our 50th episode and we're not slowing down! We love entertaining all of you! Finally, next month, the voice actors of Newgrounds will be releasing Part 1 of the Newgrounds Voice Acting Collaboration 2021! We have some awesome audio skits lined up and a bunch of new, extremely talented voice actors/actresses who will blow you away!

Thank you again everyone!

Hey everyone!

Make sure you go and tell @NickSenny Happy Birthday today! You can say it casually, scream in his face/ear, whisper it into his ear as if you're seducing him (he'll love that) or say it in Mongolian (Ghengis has been teaching him)! My good buddy turns 56 years old today and he doesn't look a day over 18! I hope I look as good as you when I turn 56 :D

In all seriousness, have a great day my dude. I hope it's fantastic and you enjoy every bit of it! I'd give you a present, but a NG post and my friendship will have to do for now XD HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICK!

Hey everyone!

If you've been enjoying the Friday Night Funkin' Jam entries like I have, take the time to check out the entries I had the privilege to voice in!

The first one is currently under judgement and was animated by @recme! He worked his ass off to get this submission done in time and I'm extremely proud to be a part of his project! I also got to work with the legend himself @cyberdevil, pretty damn awesome and his voice is LUSCIOUS! New to Newgrounds, @tapioca-witch created some AMAZING backgrounds and created a perfect atmosphere! @RokusWing helped with cleanup and provided the eye catching colors throughout the animation! @AdubsVA helped us out in a pinch by voicing Carol and she was fantastic! (Thank you @DannyGoodShirt for the recommendation! :D) @Piper KILLED IT as the voice of GF also, gave that attitude and spunk that GF would most certainly have! Please make sure you show "Friday Night Funkin' Backstage" some love!

The second entry has done pretty damn well in views and ratings and I'm very happy about that! @Sprin4el brought me on to voice a small role in "Friday Night Pain," and I LOVED being a part of it! I voiced a doctor and had to deliver some bad news to BF. Poor little chap XD The animation was completed quickly and the result came out great! The ending still gets me every time! If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it now!

The submissions coming in have been AMAZING and I know the FNF crew will have a tough time choosing the winners! Good luck to everyone and GREAT JOB with your entries! This community continues to show why it's the best on the internet!

As always, thank you for the love and support!

Seriously you guys, I'm really blown away by this. I'm still surprised that even one person decided to follow my career. This truly means a lot, thank you everyone for the love and support! I'll always be grateful for the fans because you encourage me to continue this journey. You show me that it's worth it and that I may actually be good at voice acting XD Every follow is very special to me.

Newgrounds gave me the platform to try out voice acting in 2014 and I even landed the first gig I auditioned for. I owe a lot to @TomFulp and Newgrounds. The growth in my career stems from them. The site gave me a place to live out my dream and I am grateful for that. This is perfect timing too, I'm working on an audio piece to pay homage to Newgrounds. I guess it can be a celebration for this latest milestone as well :)

Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH for the love and support everyone! You guys push me and fuel the fire to keep me going! I LOVE NEWGROINDS AND ALL OF YOU!

Hey everyone!

Taking some time this evening to commemorate my 100th audio submission on Newgrounds! It’s pretty surreal that I have that many submissions on Newgrounds now. Of course, some of them aren’t directly mine and are projects that I’ve been featured in, but nonetheless, I’m proud to have been a part of them! Which brings me to the 100th submission!

My good friend @JoshDytonVO has been constructing an original series called Space Quest. It also features my other good friend @NickSenny! Josh just released episode two today and I was very fortunate to be a part of it! Go check it out please because Josh has put a ton of work into this series. It would mean a lot to him, Nick and I if you took the time to listen! Make sure you also listen to the first episode too so you know what’s going on!

As always, thank you for the support everyone!

Hey there Newgrounds!

I’m proud to announce that I finally have a demo reel! With help from Demo Reel Forge, we collected 7 voices that best represent my variety, range and acting ability. When we recorded for it, we recorded about 15-16 voices! I really hope you like what you hear, let me know what you think! Also, if you’re interested in working together, send me a message!

Hello Newgrounds!

Merry Christmas to all of you amazing folks! As 2020 draws to a close, I’m extremely thankful for the good things that came from it. That’s right, even in this shitty, chaotic year, a lot of positive things came from it!

First off, as my involvement in the community grew, the more AMAZING people I began to meet! I’m extremely thankful I’ve met these individuals this year: @NickSenny, @JoshDytonVO, @Jacob, @DannyGoodShirt, @Spadezer, @Xinxinix, @PsychoGoldfish, @Will, @JohnnyGuy, @RealMrSnuggles and many, many more to mention! My whole post could be about the awesome people I’ve met 😅 Through these people, I’ve made some great friendships and have come across some amazing opportunities.

First and foremost, those opportunities equaled to 71 audio submissions, 31 movies and one game on Newgrounds. Some of the big projects I’m most proud of was being a part of the very successful audio project GRNDSBreaking and orchestrating the Voice Acting Collab. I was also very fortunate to become a member of The Newgrounds Podcast (thank you guys!!!!). I lent my voice to animations that garnered a lot of success and collected some daily hardware. I was even lucky enough to play a small part in the winning submission for the Musk Jam! Needless to say, 2020 has been a busy, but AWESOME, year! These are some major highlights from the year, but EVERYTHING I’ve been a part of is highlight to me. Getting an opportunity to voice act and work with amazing individuals is always a blessing and a highlight in my book 😊

I love this community so damn much and I’m thankful Tom put this website together long, long ago. He’s helped numerous careers blossom and he continues to do that every day Newgrounds remains live!

To the Newgrounds community, MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW FUCKING YEAR! Here’s to better times ahead, lots of positivity and success all around! I love you guys and thank you for your love and support throughout the year! Enjoy the day!!!
