Hey everyone!
So my talented friend @NickSenny released a skit yesterday called 'PiraTeam Building' and it will be featured in the upcoming VA Collab I'm putting together! Go check it out and show it some love and see how great Nick's vocal range is! He provided all the voices, and majority of SFXs, which is extremely impressive! We're lucky to have him aboard the collaboration! We hope this skit gets you even more excited about the VA Collab coming soon!

Hey everyone!
So I uploaded a skit that'll be featured in the voice acting collaboration I'm orchestrating! Go check it out! It's called, 'It's Just a Game, Boy,' and features myself @RealFaction and @NickSenny. It's a funny little bit about a true story that occurred when I was a kid XD. Give it a listen, rate and leave a comment about what you thought of it!
The VA Collab has 15 VAs right now and 16 total contributors! We now have 4 completed skits and have 5 more scripts being written for this collab! If you're interested in joining up, please send me a PM! Any VAs, writers and composers are welcome to join still! "Good morning everyone!
So, as I was perusing on Newgrounds last night I had an idea pop into my head. To keep it simple, the idea revolved around piecing together a collaboration for voice actors. The collaboration would consist of a bunch of OC skits all compiled together, allowing Newgrounds VAs to showcase their talent. Lately, I've been delving into writing and I thought this would also be a great way for aspiring writers to try out their writing skills as well. If you're a fellow VA and want to throw your hat in the ring, let's try this out!
Guidelines:
1.) Content must be original. Be creative with this project and think outside the box! I'm sure we can all do impressions and re-enact a scene from out favorite cartoon/game/movie, but use this opportunity to show how great your imagination is! Genres can range from comedy, drama, action, horror, sci-fi, whatever you heart desires to write about!
2.) Skits should range from a minute to two minutes (1:00-2:00 minutes). This is just a basis as of right now, but this could ultimately change. If we get quite a few people on board, we can discuss what the minimum and maximum times for skits can be. I want every VA to get ample time to showcase what they can do!
3.) You can submit more than one skit! This is a showcase for you and your talent so feel free to submit more than one skit if you like! If you do upload multiple skits, confirm which skit you for sure want in the collaboration. Everyone who comes aboard the collaboration will have at least one skit in the collaboration. If there's a lack of collaborators, then we'll include as many skits as you can produce lol!
4.) You can definitely include music and sound effects. Bring your skits to life! As VAs, we need to animate scenes with our voices so use whatever you can to paint the canvas of our skit! You're more than welcome to collaborate with fellow Newgrounds composers if they're up for it, or you can use music that's royalty free and acceptable to use. The same goes for any sound effects you want to use. Please inform me which composers you collaborate with you so we can add them to the project, or which music/effects you used.
5.) Content must be SFW. Don't get me wrong, I'm a sailor and I love cursing lol, but let's keep swear words to a minimum in skits. I want to keep this collaboration at an E rating, but we could bump it to a T rating if there's an abundance of profanity lol. Sexual acts/situations must remain out of your skits also. If you have any questions about a certain scenario you want to put into your skit, just ask me and we can establish if it will work or not. I'm looking for clean, family fun in this collaboration! Audio from your skit could ultimately be used as a sample for your demo, so just keep that in mind!
6.) Have fun! Plain and simple, just have fun with it! It's an opportunity for you to be creative and interact with new people, or fellow Newgrounds friends! :)
